Editorial Policy
Here Lies: The IO Writing Quarterly is published quarterly on the World Wide Web by the io.Writing program.
Here Lies is a juried journal. All submissions should be sent to Patrick Burton who will pass the submission(s) on to the remainder of the editorial panel for consideration. The editors will inform contributors of the panel's decision.
All forms of poetry and prose are allowable. The panel is formed of a group of experienced readers and writers who have eclectic tastes. However, reading through past issues should give a strong indication of the range of quality and styles which the panel finds favourable.
The first issue of Here Lies has been assembled from some of the more recent works of the editors. The intention is (partly) to promote our own writing, but primarily to demonstrate our own likes in creative writing. It also saved us the trouble of soliciting works for a new and untried journal.
From now-on, we will try to keep ourselves off the contents listings.
